 When most people think of
cruising and dining, they picture extravagant formal evenings with
sumptuous servings of food and tuxedoes and evening gowns. While that
certainly is part of the classic cruise experience, today more and more
people are interested in casual dining options. And Crystal Cruises'
answers that need with a range of casual dining options.
In addition to many designated "casual nights" in all our dining venues,
we are pleased to now offer al fresco "casual dining" on select evenings
during each cruise. The Trident Bar & Grill around the Neptune Pool
extends its hours these special evenings and offers a specially-created
informal menu in a laid-back, open-air atmosphere. The suggested dress
code at the Grill, which features a retractable roof, is as casual as
one cares to be.
The new Trident Bar & Grill evening menu features inspired selections
such as iced shrimp or sun ripened tomatoes with mozzarella and basil
appetizers, soup and Caesar or Cobb salad, entrées including gourmet
pizza, Tandoori beef or chicken, grilled prawns on lemongrass, or minute
steak with onion rings, accompanied by various grilled vegetable and
potato side dishes. Crystalcruiselines offers fudge brownies, cookies, ice cream and nonfat frozen
yogurt with toppings are among the dessert choices.
While the Trident Bar & Grill is also open all afternoon for casual
dining, its hours have been extended from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There is
no additional charge and no reservations are required. The food is
always first class and waiting on a luxuy cruise from Cyrstal Crusie
